Forest of Fear Release!

Halloween is upon on us, and I am pleased to say that Blood Song Books second anthology was unleashed upon the world! “Forest of Fear” is a Halloween themed microfiction anthology, and is the first of an annual series…

Forest of Fear” was compiled and launched in just two months, which I’m extremely proud of. With just a twenty-one day submission window, we received hundreds of spooky submissions. Being a mini anthology, we were forced to select the one-hundred and one best of the lot; and I think we nailed it.

Isn’t the cover just gorgeous? This stunning anthology features fifty-eight talented international authors, fourteen of whom achieved a full triad of drabbles! Every single drabble earned its place. Tales of witches, ghouls, ghosts, demons, monsters and even literal, murderous forests, abound! This collection may make you question whether trick-or-treating is the innocent past-time you were raised to believe…

Blurb: The moon is high, and the darkness teams with nightmares. It’s All Hallows’ Eve…do you dare go out, risking life and limb, for a sweet treat? Will you answer the call of the night? Sate your seasonal hunger, and sink your teeth into this delectable collection of 101 bites of Halloween horror!

I’m really ecstatic to announce that “Forest of Fear” made it to #1 Best Seller under Horror Anthologies in both Australia, and Canada. And also into the Top 100 in the U.S.A. We’ve made sales across the U.K and Germany, too, which is also fantastic.

On top of “Forest of Fear“‘s release, Blood Song Books have discounted their debut, and also #1 Best Selling anthology “Curses & Cauldrons” to just 99c for Halloween! So be sure to grab your copy while you can! Both these titles are also available to read for free with Kindle Unlimited, if you have it. So check them out!

Congratulations to all the contributing authors, of both anthologies. It was a pleasure to edit them. We’re very proud of their success and can’t wait to open the next call in 2020!

Thank you for reading! Please feel free to share my blog with your friends.

May you feast upon the flesh of your enemies!
