BLURB DOCTOR
$49 USD – I will rewrite and enhance your existing blurb, making it more appealing. This means punchier vocabulary, reformatting of sentence structure, and creating a sense of urgency to lure potential readers! This is a single pass, meaning you trust me to write what sells. What I write is what you get!
$99 USD – Same package as above, however this price point covers up to one rounds of edits after I’ve delivered your blurb. This package is for those who want more control and a final say in the exact verbiage of their end product via a back and forth dialogue to reach perfection.
$149 USD – I will write a blurb from scratch, based on your synopsis or an Online conversation with you. As above, this package includes one round of edits, also!
PROOF READER
Proof Reading is the final step before a book goes to publication. As a Proof Reader is is my job to give your manuscript a final “look over” with a fresh pair of eyes. It is a crucial step required to catch any last errors present before your book lands in readers laps! I will be using Microsoft Word Track Changes to check for the following:
• Spelling and Typos: Correcting misspelled words, rogue letters, and typos (e.g., “form” instead of “from”).
• Punctuation: Checking for missing, extra, or incorrectly used commas, periods, quotation marks, and apostrophes.
• Grammar: Identifying basic errors such as subject-verb agreement issues and incorrect verb tenses.
• Consistency: Ensuring uniform usage throughout the document (e.g., proper noun capitalization, American vs. British spelling, hyphenation, and formatting).
• Formatting Inconsistencies: Spotting errors in spacing, indentation, font size, margins, and page numbers.
• Missing Elements: Checking for missing or repeated words, lines, or paragraphs.
Before I agree to work with with you, I’ll require the first 1,000 words of the story in question to ascertain whether we’ll be a good fit for one another. If your work appears to have not being thoroughly edited or seems rough, I reserve the right to decline the work and proceed no further. You will not be charged for my time if I pass on the project.
My standard rate at this point in time is 0.005 cents USD per word. Therefore, a manuscript of 50,000 words would cost $250 USD, a manuscript of 20,000 words would cost $100 USD, etc.
GRAPHIC ARTIST
$29 USD – I will create three custom graphics, including mood boards and trope maps (dimensions of your choosing) for use in social media or Kickstarter promotions using your book cover. (See examples below.)
$49 USD – I will generate ten high resolution promotional stock mock-up shots using your book cover with my paid subscription. These can be edited or cropped as you see fit! (See examples below.)
