And just like that… the kids are finally done with school for the year and Christmas is just DAYS away! *head spins* This year has been one of chaos and discovery for me, and while I regret none of it, I’m definitely looking forward to a fresh slate in 2026. I had 20 books published this year, and along the way burn out (as well as mental and physical health issues) hit me HARD. I’ve been struggling on, but it’s been hell. I’m crossing my fingers that next year is easier.

I’m going to be focusing on what makes me happy in 2026. I’m not going to chase trends, or write to market, or take reader suggestions. I’m not going to aim to write long or short… I’m just going to rediscover my passion. My reason. My art.
