I’m not going to sugar coat this newsletter, dear readers, despite the ridiculously bouncy and absurd song reference I’ve used for a title… All authors, everywhere, are experiencing an enormous downturn in income. As in, we’re surviving off of 1/4 of our usual earnings. It’s diabolical and almost all of us are freaking the fuck out. We’re promoting our work on socials, in our newsletters, collaborating with others authors, some of us are even desperately paying for ads and promotions to reach new readers… but it all seems to be failing. We’re at a loss and I for one don’t know what to do.

Life is chaotic and hard right now, I fully understand and live that reality, too, but if you have an entertainment allowance, or a Kindle Unlimited subscription, please consider checking out some of mine and my friends books. We’re struggling and if things don’t improve, I predict we’re going to lose a lot of the authors we know and love because we just can’t afford to keeping going. So, please, consider this our cry for help. We’re battling to keep our heads above water—throw us a life preserver! You have no idea just how much your purchase or page reads will mean to us… Thank you.

Some of you may or may not have noticed that my self-published indie titles are no longer available… it’s because I’ve made the decision to focus my creative energies in one direction to the best of my ability, rather than spread myself thin, trying to achieve everything. From now, I’ve returned to writing almost exclusively for my publisher, Evernight Publishing, with the exception of a few projects in future.

Some of the titles you know and love may receive a new lease on life as I intend to rewrite and extend many of them, but only time will tell.
