What exactly is Romantasy is it the same as Romance genre?

Hi Crystal! Romantasy is a subgenre within Romance, definitely. It’s basically the perfect blend of your traditional Lord of the Rings styled Fantasy and Romance! I’ve heard readers describe it as ‘fairy tales for adults’ if that helps!
